Hayley Peden

Director & Teacher

 

 

Hayley is a qualified teacher since 2005, specialising in English and Drama with many years experience in secondary education. She has extensive skills and experience working with neurodivergent and disabled children and young people. Hayley is a Certified Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage and trained in the Curiosity Programme, Attention Autism Level 1,  Makaton Levels 1and 2 and Lego-based therapy. Hayley is a proud mum to two neurodivergent children called Daisy and Poppy.

Occupational Therapist

Liz has been a qualified Occupational Therapist since 2003, with experience across various clinical areas. She is also a certified Sensory Integration Practitioner who is passionate about working with young people through a sensory integration approach, and She most definitely considers it a huge privilege to support young people  on their journey to reach their full potential.

Lyndsey Walmsley

Centre Manager

 

 

Lyndsey is our Centre Manager at The Sensory Hive and has been with us since we first opened. With over 30 years of experience in SEND across specialist settings. We are incredibly fortunate to have her on our team. Lyndsey holds multiple qualifications in this field and has a deep passion for working with children. Her dedication shines through in the wonderful relationships she has built with our users and their carers. She is committed to supporting the families of neurodivergent individuals, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone who visits our centre.

Specialist Occupational Therapist and Health and Wellbeing

Sam Has been an Occupational therapist for nearly 20 years now Currently working for the NHS, and additionally working Freelance in Paediatric Occupational Therapy,  specialising in Completing development assessment, sensory assessments from birth until adulthood and supporting the transitions to nursery, school, and working environaments

Jeanie Allport- Bryson

Occupational Therapist

Jeanie has experience is both in mainstream and special educational need schools with young people aged up to 19 years old (SPD, ASC, ADHD, DCD, GDD, medically complex young people, social emotional and mental health settings and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities). with extensive experience setting up and maintaining occupational therapy services within special educational need and mainstream schools. Also Sensory Integration trained mod 2 Class (Jean Ayres model of Sensory Integration) and I am currently studying part time the full Master of Science in Advancing Practice Sensory Integration from Sheffield University.

We also have our weekend staff to assist us during gym sessions and parties.

Perry-Donnelly 

Therapy Centre Administrator / OT Assistant

​Liberty has previous experience in caring for young children, and found this very rewarding so much so it deepened her passion for making a positive impact in their lives. she certainly does excel in a team environment, her enjoyment for collaborating with others and exchanging ideas does really shine through. We are excited that Liberty continues to grow and contribute in her role at the Sensory Hive

Hynes

Occupational Therapist

​

Caoimhe Qualified as an OT in 2019 and is passionate about Children's Occupational Therapy with Level 3 Sensory Integration training currently she works in a community sensory motor team. and has experience working with children and young people with physical, cognitive and developmental delays, with a range of occupational performance problems. She is passionate about providing evidence based interventions to children and young people to develop their sensory motor skills and increase independence with daily living skills.
