What we do

We create inclusive sensory experiences that help children, young people and adults feel confident, supported and understood. Every journey is tailored to the individual.

Who?

We support children, young people, adults, families and professionals through sensory-informed services that promote participation, confidence and wellbeing.

What?

We provide Occupational Therapy, sensory play sessions, Rebound Therapy, specialist facilities, education and family support tailored to individual needs.

Why?

Because everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. We help people understand their sensory needs, build everyday skills and feel empowered to reach their full potential.

Our Impact in Numbers

At The Sensory Hive, our projects support sensory wellbeing, mental health, and community connection. With funding support from Knowsley Council and other valued partners, we create safe, inclusive spaces where children, young people, families, and carers feel understood, supported, and connected.

What people say about OT at The Sensory Hive

"We feel so much more confident in supporting the young person we look after and working as a team with school."

"Our child felt relaxed and really enjoyed the process. It made such a positive impact."

"My daughter is a lot calmer and her behaviour has improved dramatically. She continues to use the strategies she learnt to this day. The detailed report at the end of the sessions has really helped me understand her better and help her deal with different situations."

"The assessment helped us understand their sensory needs that had previously gone unnoticed."

"Strategies and recommendations made a noticeable difference at school and home."
